Under the aegis of Prof. (Dr.) Karamjit Singh, Vice Chancellor of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, and the dynamic leadership of Dr. Jagsir Singh Brar, Principal of Guru Gobind Singh University College, Jandiala Manjki, a one-day NSS camp was organized on 13th March 2025. The camp aimed at cleaning and revamping the campus. The students took part in a cleanliness drive where they cleaned various areas of the college, including pathways, lawns and classrooms, ensuring a hygienic and pleasant environment. Additionally, the students participated in planting saplings around the campus to enhance its greenery and sustainability. Principal (Dr.) Jagsir Singh Brar, initiated the campaign and motivated the students, encouraging them to actively participate in such initiatives for the betterment of the environment. His address highlighted the importance of cleanliness and environmental responsibility. The event not only improved the physical appearance of the campus but also raised awareness among students about waste segregation, reducing plastic usage, and adopting eco-friendly practices. The collective efforts of the students made the campus visibly cleaner and the initiative fostered a sense of responsibility and environmental consciousness among them. The success of the event was a reflection of the enthusiasm and dedication of both the students and the staff, with long-lasting positive effects on the college environment. During this campaign, all the esteemed faculty members were present. They contributed their support and expertise to this camp.
